EQC radio signal issues

Anyone else experiencing radio signal woes with their EQC My 2020 EQC all electric of course has started displaying a 'No FM Signal' error The whole audio system seems dead when this happens and the infotainment screen throws up an error message Ran a diagnostic scan and it's showing a fault related to the antenna I'm suspecting a defective antenna maybe the antenna booster or signal amplifier is faulty or perhaps a bad antenna ground Anyone had similar issues with vehicle electronics I'm trying to gauge how deep this rabbit hole goes before I start throwing parts at it

I have an EQC as well I encountered a similar problem a while back Was there any recent work done on the car involving the roof or rear hatch Just curious if the antenna cable might have been disturbed

No recent work that I'm aware of I haven't had anything done on the roof or rear hatch so I doubt the antenna cable was disturbed What exactly was the problem with yours and what fixed it

Okay good to rule that out In my case it ended up being the antenna amplifier The shop confirmed it with their diagnostics They replaced it and the reception returned I'd suggest getting a proper diagnosis before replacing parts

Thanks that's helpful Sounds like I'm on the right track suspecting the antenna or its related components I'll probably take it in to get it checked out properly The diagnostic pointed to the antenna anyway and the estimated repair cost is around 255€ Hopefully it's just the amplifier like yours was Appreciate the insight
