EQC Ventilation System Issue Resolved

My 2020 Electric Mercedes EQC ventilation system is acting up. It has about 195857 km on it. The error memory says there's a problem with the defrost air distribution flap, and the heating isn't as strong as it should be. Could a bad cable or plug be the cause?

I had a similar air distribution issue in my EQC. The climate control wasn't regulating the temperature right. Have you listened for any weird sounds from the dashboard when you change the airflow?

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't heard any strange noises from the dashboard. Do you think I should check the air distribution flap motor itself?

Checking the motor is an option, but the error memory mentioning a possible cable or plug problem is important. Because the ventilation system is complicated and you could cause more damage, I'd suggest taking it to a good workshop. A bad air distribution can mess up the entire ventilation system.

I understand. Thanks for the advice. I took the EQC to a workshop, and they found a faulty plug connection on the air distribution flap. The repair was 95€. The heating works properly now.
