I mean the part that directs air to the windshield, face, or feet. The defrost isn't working right; the air isn't going where it should. What exactly happened with your Renault, and did you try any fixes yourself?

Okay, I get it now. Well, honestly, I didn't do any diagnostics myself. I'm not that technically skilled. But the symptoms were really similar, and my mechanic told me something about a faulty connection. It was a pain! Honestly, with an error code showing up, I'd just take it to a workshop. They will probably figure it out faster than you or I could.

Thanks. Based on that and the error code, I'm taking it to a technician. The repair should be around 95€. I'll post what happens.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old 2012 Renault Megane, although it wasn't exactly the same. The air distribution was all messed up, and the heating was weak. I never got an error code though. What do you mean by 'air distribution flap'? Is that like, how the air is directed to your face, feet, or windshield?
