Can you share the symptoms you experienced and how you determined the root cause? Did you see other issues or diagnostic steps that made you suspect the main relay?

Okay, so the car was sluggish, like really struggling to accelerate. An engine control unit is the computer controlling the engine. The mechanic scanned it and suggested it. Honestly, I'd take it to a reliable workshop to confirm. It's better to be sure.

Based on your experiences, it seems the main relay was the problem. I replaced it for 120€. The car is now running well.

Hey, I had something similar with my Equus. Reduced power, error codes. Sounded like a dodgy sensor at first, but how did you figure out it was the main relay?
