EQV electric seat issue resolved
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Mercedes EQV owner experienced a non-functional passenger electric seat adjustment, with a diagnostic scan indicating an error related to the seat. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, leading to a suspicion of a discharged or defective battery within the seat mechanism. A suggestion to inspect and clean the seat harness connector under the seat was provided, which helped narrow down the problem. Ultimately, replacing a heavily discharged battery resolved the issue, restoring the seat's functionality.

When you say seat harness, are you referring to the main connector under the seat? Or were there specific wires within the harness that showed signs of damage? I'm trying to narrow down the diagnostic before potentially replacing the entire seat adjustment system.

Yeah, I meant the main connector under the car seats. Wiggling it didn't help, but taking it apart and cleaning the contacts did the trick. If that doesn't fix it, probably best to take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out it was related to a voltage issue affecting the seat adjustment module. After replacing a heavily discharged battery that cost 290€, the power seats are now working properly again. Your suggestion about the seat harness helped me focus my efforts. I appreciate the help.

Sounds familiar. I had something like that with my EQV. Have you checked the seat harness? That fixed it for me.
