Thanks for the quick response I appreciate the analogy; it definitely feels like a dead battery situation Regarding troubleshooting, I confess I haven't delved into the fuses yet Where exactly are the relevant fuses located, and is there a specific one I should be looking for related to the brake control system

Okay, so on mine, the issue was definitely with the brake calliper motor The fuses are located in the fuse box under the hood, but honestly, even if the fuse is blown, it's likely just a symptom of the faulty motor If you're getting error codes and the light's on, save yourself the trouble and get it to a workshop It's not worth risking vehicle safety over a potentially simple fix, you know

Your advice was spot on I took it to a reputable workshop, and as suspected, the electric motor in the brake calliper was indeed defective The repair cost was almost exactly what I had estimated Thanks again for sharing your experience; it helped me approach the situation with a clearer understanding and a little less anxiety

Whoa, that sounds like a major headache I had something similar happen on my EQV The electronic brake just flat out refused to engage Think of it like trying to start a car with a dead battery – nothing happens I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out Did you try any basic troubleshooting steps, like checking fuses or anything
