Thanks for the tip. Where exactly is the antenna ground located on the EQV? And how would I check the antenna booster? Is that something accessible without special tools?

While I'm not certain about the precise location on the 2021 EQV, it's usually near the antenna base, possibly under the headlining or within the vehicle electronics compartment. Accessing the antenna booster might require some disassembly, depending on its location. Given the complexity of modern vehicle electronics, and the error stored in the memory, a visit to a workshop might be beneficial for a proper diagnosis. They can test the antenna and booster thoroughly.

Confirmed, it was the antenna. The workshop diagnosed a defective antenna and replaced it. The total cost was 255€. Now the FM signal is perfect again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It helped me to be better prepared for the workshop visit.

I also own a Mercedes EQV and experienced something similar. My FM signal would cut out intermittently, accompanied by static noise. Did you check the antenna ground connection? A loose or corroded ground can definitely cause this. It might also be worth checking the antenna booster if your model has one. It amplifies the FM signal.
