Escape Hybrid Mixture Preparation Error

Thank you. The issue did present itself rather abruptly. One moment the vehicle was performing optimally; the next, I was experiencing the symptoms. Given your experience with the Opel Insignia, could you elaborate on the eventual diagnosis and rectification? Did it ultimately involve the fuel injection system, as I suspect?

Okay, so the sudden onset makes it sound even more like a bad injector. In my case, after a lot of head-scratching, they found one of the fuel injectors was completely kaput. The repair cost a small fortune, so buckle up. Honestly, if it's doing all that, I'd say bite the bullet and take it to a reputable workshop. They'll have the right diagnostic tools to pinpoint the culprit. Good luck!

I appreciate your candor and shared experience. Based on your insights and the escalating severity of the symptoms, I shall heed your advice and schedule an appointment with a qualified technician for comprehensive diagnostics. Replacing the defective injection valve, which was identified as the root cause, resolved the problems, at a cost of 515€. Thank you again for your invaluable assistance.

That sounds eerily familiar! I had almost the exact same problems with my 2018 Opel Insignia – the stalling at idle was the worst! Check Engine light, rough running, the whole shebang. The mechanic kept mentioning something about 'mixture preparation' too. Did the problem appear suddenly, or did it gradually worsen over time?
