Eseries Air Suspension Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Ford Eseries with a gasoline engine experienced an air suspension failure, where the compressor appeared non-functional, causing the van to lean and display error signals. The suspected cause was a faulty cable or plug in the compressor circuit. After considering potential air leaks and electrical supply issues, the problem was confirmed to be a cable connection, which was resolved by a mechanic, restoring the van's functionality.

Thanks! I haven't checked for air leaks, but I didn't hear any hissing. I'll try the multimeter test. Do you know what the value for a functioning system should be?

Without knowing the exact specs for your Eseries, I can't provide an exact voltage figure. If there's no voltage at all at the compressor connector when the system is trying to level, then the issue is upstream. If you're not comfortable tracing wiring diagrams, I would suggest taking it to a workshop.

Thanks a lot. It was indeed the cable connection, just as I suspected. I took it to the workshop, and the mechanic fixed the cable connection for 95€. Now the van is running perfectly again!

Sounds like classic compressor failure. Have you checked for air leaks around the struts or compressor? Is the compressor getting power? A multimeter test could rule out the electrical supply before chasing air leaks.
