When you mention the fan clutch, are you thinking the fan isn't engaging properly, even if the motor is getting power? Sorry, I'm new to some of these terms.

Yes, exactly. The fan clutch is supposed to engage the fan when the engine gets hot. But if the electrics are dodgy, that will create overheating too. I would recommend you visit a workshop if you are not familiar with car repairs.

Took my overheating Ford E-Series to a mechanic, and it was a defective cable connection to the electric fan, as I suspected. They replaced it for 95€ and now it's running perfectly. Thanks for your advice!

Overheating can fry your engine, so it is a serious problem. Check for obvious signs of damage to your fan's electric motor. Are you sure that the fan clutch isn't the problem, rather than the electrics themselves?
