Eseries seat heater failure

Hey, I've got a 2005 Ford Eseries with a diesel. The seat heater isn't working. Doesn't get warm, and there's an error code. I'm guessing the heating mat is shot. Anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

The seat heater in a 2005 Ford Eseries diesel was not functioning, accompanied by an error code. The initial suspicion was a faulty heating mat. After checking the wiring and finding no issues, it was confirmed that the heating element was defective. Replacing the heating mat resolved the problem.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had a similar issue with my Eseries. Same symptoms. Did you check the wiring under the seat?

Yeah, I checked the wiring. All seems fine, no obvious breaks. Was it the mat in your case?

Yep, heating element was the problem. I'd say take it to a workshop, they can confirm. Cost me around 390€.
