Espace ABS Traction Problems

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2023 Renault Espace diesel. The ABS lamp keeps lighting up, and I'm experiencing traction problems, a complete failure of the ABS system. I've covered 124694 km. Could this be a faulty speed sensor? Has anyone else had this issue?

Hey! Sounds familiar. I have an Espace too, and I had similar ABS and traction control lights popping up. Did you check the speedometer? Was that working correctly, or was it also acting up? Could also be a defective control unit, but what do I know?

The speedometer seems to be working fine. It's just the ABS and traction control that are going haywire. A defective control unit, you say? How did you figure that out? And what did it end up costing you to fix?

Well, after scratching my head for a week I took it to a workshop. They ran some diagnostics and told me the affected control unit was indeed defective, causing a speed signal fault. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted. Best get it checked!

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll take it to a workshop and get the control unit checked. Hopefully, it's the same issue and not something more complicated. At least I have a starting point now. Thanks again!
