Espace Airbag Warning Light

Alright, Renault Espace gurus, lend me your wisdom! My 2023 Espace hybrid is throwing a tantrum. The airbag warning light is blazing in the speedometer like a Christmas tree. Mileage is sitting at 84684 km. I've had airbag issues before on my old Megane, and it's usually just a sensor acting up. This time, I am worried. Could it be a loose connection, or is something more sinister going on? Anyone else experienced this automotive safety nightmare?

Thanks! Any idea where to start poking around for those connections? I remember on my old car, there were crash sensors, and airbag sensors all over the place.

Yes, given the symptoms and your car's age, a faulty connection is plausible. Nevertheless, I recommend consulting a workshop.

Took it to the shop; turns out it WAS a dodgy connector under the seat, just like you suspected. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the pointers!
