Espace Battery Fault

Hey, got a weird one with my 2023 Renault Espace hybrid. Getting a 'Battery Fault' error in the speedo. Lights are flickering like crazy, and the engine barely cranks. Plugged in my OBD reader and it's throwing a low voltage code. I'm guessing it's a discharged battery, but it's practically brand new! Any thoughts?

Sounds like a pain! My old Laguna had similar issues once. Was the battery actually flat, or just showing the signs? Did you try jump-starting it?

Yeah, tried jumping it. It starts, but weakly. And the error keeps popping up. You reckon it's just a dead battery, or something else draining it?

Hmm, if it starts weakly after a jump, but the error persists, could be a faulty battery sensor messing with the charging system. Had that happen on a friend's Megane. Probably best to get it checked at a workshop.

Cheers! You nailed it – took it to the shop, and it was indeed the battery sensor. Cost me 315€ all in, but at least it's sorted. Thanks for the help!
