Espace engine power loss

Hey! I have an Espace too. Sounds familiar. Reduced power and the check engine light... Was it like the car was struggling, almost in limp mode? Did you notice any change in fuel efficiency or anything weird with the air intake?

Limp mode is exactly how I'd describe it! Fuel efficiency seems a bit worse, yeah. What was the culprit in your case? Was it something to do with the throttle sensor?

Yep, mine was the throttle valve acting up, too. Apparently, the accelerator pedal module or the electronics inside can be defective. If it's the same for you, better get it checked at a workshop. Ended up costing me around 265€ to repair.
