Espace Fuel Level Sensor Fault

I have a 2019 Renault Espace with a gasoline engine and 170560 km. I'm encountering a fuel level sensor fault. The check engine light is on, and the engine occasionally stalls at idle. Diagnostic check reveals an error stored in the error memory related to the fuel level sensor. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could a defective fuse be the cause?

Hmm, fuel level sensor issues can be tricky. A fuse could be the culprit, but I wouldn't bet on it. Is the car dashboard showing wildly inaccurate fuel levels, or is it just the check engine light and stalling?

The car dashboard does fluctuate a bit, but it's not completely erratic. It's more the check engine light combined with the stalling that's concerning. So, you reckon it's unlikely to be just a simple fuse?

Could be the fuse, but it's probably wishful thinking. With the stalling, I'd lean towards a faulty sensor or wiring issue. Honestly, you might want to get it checked at a workshop before it causes more problems.

Thanks. You were right. Wasn't just a fuse. Ended up being the fuel level sensor itself. Replaced it for 52€. All good now.
