Espace Fuel Level Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Espace owner experienced a fuel level sensor fault, indicated by a check engine light and occasional engine stalling at idle. The diagnostic check confirmed an error related to the fuel level sensor. While a defective fuse was considered, it was unlikely to be the cause. The issue was resolved by replacing the faulty fuel level sensor.

The car dashboard does fluctuate a bit, but it's not completely erratic. It's more the check engine light combined with the stalling that's concerning. So, you reckon it's unlikely to be just a simple fuse?

Could be the fuse, but it's probably wishful thinking. With the stalling, I'd lean towards a faulty sensor or wiring issue. Honestly, you might want to get it checked at a workshop before it causes more problems.

Thanks. You were right. Wasn't just a fuse. Ended up being the fuel level sensor itself. Replaced it for 52€. All good now.

Hmm, fuel level sensor issues can be tricky. A fuse could be the culprit, but I wouldn't bet on it. Is the car dashboard showing wildly inaccurate fuel levels, or is it just the check engine light and stalling?
