The navigation system does not find any satellites at all. I have not checked the antenna cable connection, as I am not comfortable disassembling the dashboard. Is it difficult to access?

Okay, if it's not finding any satellites at all, it's likely not just a loose connection. Accessing the back of the head unit can be tricky without the proper tools and knowledge. Given the symptoms, it does sound like a defective antenna. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; they confirmed it quickly. Save yourself the hassle and potential damage and get it checked by a professional.

I appreciate the advice. I will take it to a workshop for diagnosis and repair. The estimated repair cost is around 200€. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

I had a similar issue with my Renault Espace. Does the navigation system fail to find any satellites at all, or does it sometimes find some but then loses the connection quickly? Also, have you checked the antenna cable connection at the back of the head unit? It might just be loose.
