Thanks for the quick reply! You mentioned checking audio settings and a conflict; can you elaborate a bit more? I've fiddled with the volume controls and microphone sensitivity, but haven't found anything that seems to fix it. Where exactly did you find this conflict?

Yeah, I spent ages trying to fix it myself. I regret every second I spent. Truthfully, I never actually found the conflict. I ended up taking it to the workshop, and they diagnosed a defective infotainment system. Bit of a pain, but at least it's sorted now. I think your best bet is to take it to the dealer, it seems a similar issue than the one I had.

Thanks for the advice! It sounds like it's more serious than I initially thought. I'll book it in with the shop, I was hoping to avoid it, especially after hearing about that eventual repair cost (815€?!?). Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Interesting. I have an Espace too, and I had something similar happen a while back. Voice commands would be wonky, ambient noise seemed amplified. Eventually telephony stopped working, plus the error memory also mentioned something about it. Did you check your audio system settings? Maybe there's a conflict somewhere.
