Espace Injection Issue

My 2007 Renault Espace diesel is driving me nuts. It's got 137989 km on it. Lately, the fuel consumption has gone way up, the engine feels weak, and it sometimes stalls when I'm idling. Plus, there's a noticeable puff of smoke when I accelerate. Could it be a bad sensor or something?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms on my Espace. Have you checked the cable or plug connections to the injection system components? That's where I'd start looking.

Yep, it's worth a shot! I had those exact symptoms. Honestly, I wouldn't dig in too deep yourself if you aren't comfortable. My advice? Get it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks so much for the tip! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on! It was a defective plug on the injection system. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed. Now it runs like new!
