I have a 2023 Renault Espace hybrid with 68015 km. I'm getting a 'Parking aid fault' error. The parking assistant isn't working, and the error is stored. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the cause?

I had a similar issue on my old Volvo. All the ultrasonic sensors, blind spot sensors and the rearview camera were affected. I'd check the connections to the control module first.

Access wasn't too bad on the Volvo, but it's different for every car. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to avoid making it worse.
