Espace start stop problem

Hi, I'm having a start-stop issue with my 2013 Renault Espace diesel (195133 km). The engine shuts off as it should, but sometimes it doesn't automatically restart. There's also a warning light and an error stored. Could this be related to a discharged battery, or is there something else I should be checking?

Hey! Sounds like a pain. Is the battery original? How old is it?

The battery was replaced about 3 years ago. Should I be looking at replacing it again?

Hmm, 3 years isn't that old for a battery. But, if it's heavily discharged, it can definitely mess with the start-stop system. To be sure, I would suggest that you visit the workshop. They'll check if the battery is defective. You might need a new one, it should be around 290€.
