Espace Turn Signal Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Espace owner is experiencing a fault with the driver's side turn signal, indicated by an error message on the speedometer. The initial suspicion is a bad cable or plug, as replacing the bulb did not resolve the issue. It is suggested that the problem likely lies in the wiring or connectors, which can corrode or break. The recommended solution is to have a workshop inspect and repair the wiring, which successfully resolved the issue for another owner at a cost of 95€.

Thanks! It's the driver's side. I did try a new bulb, but no luck. And no recent work on the car. Could it still be a connection even with a new bulb?

Yep, sounds like my problem. The new bulb not fixing it really points to wiring or a connector issue. The connectors corrode, or a wire can chafe and break. I'd get a workshop to look at it before you start tearing into the wiring yourself. Cost me about 95€ to get it sorted.

Thanks for the advice! Good to know it could be a connection even after replacing the bulb. I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the wiring. Seems best to avoid making things worse. They found the problem, it was a defective cable. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!

Hey, I had something similar with my Espace. Turn signals can be tricky. Was it the same side, and did you try a new bulb first? They're known to fail. Also, did this start after any work on the car?
