Essentia transmission oil pressure sensor fault

My 2019 Chevrolet Essentia gasoline with 47675 km has the engine warning light on. Diagnostics say it's a transmission oil pressure sensor fault. The gearbox goes into emergency mode, slips during gear changes, and makes grinding noises sometimes. I checked for damage but found nothing. Anyone else had this with their Essentia?

Yes, the error pointed directly to the pressure sensor. The gearbox oil level was too low, causing the sensor to malfunction. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They identified and fixed the issue quickly.

I appreciate the advice. I checked the oil level and it seems to be the problem. I've had the car repaired; the low oil level had indeed damaged the sensor. The total cost was 365€. Thanks again!
