Estima AC not cooling
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Toyota Estima's AC stopped cooling and doesn't switch on, with a suspicion of valve issues. A similar past issue with another vehicle was due to a refrigerant leak, causing the pressure switch to prevent compressor engagement. It is suggested to have a technician check the refrigerant levels and pressure switch at a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair.

I didn't notice any unusual noise or a decline in cooling efficiency before it failed. Can you share more about your issue?

In my case, it was a refrigerant leak, which caused the pressure switch to prevent the compressor from engaging. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It's difficult to diagnose without proper equipment.

Thanks. Based on your experience, I'll have a technician check the refrigerant levels and pressure switch. I'll arrange an inspection at a workshop.

I had a similar issue with my 2012 Opel Insignia last year. The AC just stopped blowing cold air. Did you notice any unusual AC noise before it stopped working, or maybe any change in AC efficiency leading up to this?
