Evalia electronic parking brake issue
Summary of the thread
The electronic parking brake on a 2020 Nissan Evalia is not functioning, with a fault stored in the error memory and a warning light on the speedometer. Possible causes include a faulty brake sensor or a defective electric motor in the brake calliper. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for diagnosis and repair, as confirmed by a similar case where the electric motor in the brake calliper was found to be defective.

Interesting. Do you remember any more details? Was it a brake sensor or something else? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth investigating myself.

For me, it was definitely the electronic brake itself. I'd suggest visiting a workshop. The likely cause is a defective electric motor in the brake calliper.

Thanks for the info! That confirms my suspicion. I took it to a workshop, and you were right - the electric motor in the brake calliper was defective. The repair cost was 505€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue on my Evalia. Is the brake sensor perhaps faulty? It might also be a system glitch.
