Evalia fuel level sensor fault

Alright Evalia experts, I'm throwing this out there. My 2009 Nissan Evalia, gasoline engine, is giving me fits. Check engine light's on, it stalls at idle sometimes, and I pulled the codes – fuel level sensor fault. I've checked for obvious fuse issues related to the fuel system but haven't found anything blown. Any ideas where to start digging?

I had similar symptoms with my 2012 Opel Astra. Turns out a faulty fuel level sensor can cause all sorts of weirdness. Does your car store any errors in the error memory?

Yeah, that's the thing, the error memory definitely shows the fuel level sensor fault. So, if you had the same issue, what did you end up doing to fix it?

Okay, good to know! Considering that and the stalling, it's likely a sensor malfunction. Unfortunately, it's difficult to diagnose it accurately without professional tools. I strongly recommend having a workshop check the sensor and wiring. It will likely save you a lot of time and frustration.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions! Took it to the shop as suggested. Turns out it was indeed the fuel level sensor. 52€ later, all fixed! Appreciate the help!
