Evalia lighting faults
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Nissan Evalia is experiencing lighting issues, with tail lights randomly turning on and multiple lighting faults recorded in the error memory. The initial suspicion is a faulty light switch or a bad connection. Suggestions include checking the fuse box for blown fuses related to the lighting system, as this is a common cause of such issues. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be a faulty connection, which was resolved by a workshop for a repair cost of 95€.

Good point about the fuse box. I'll check that first thing. But, if it's not the fuse, could it be the dimmer switch itself? And where exactly is the fuse box located, anyway?

The dimmer switch is possible, but less likely than a fuse or connection. Think of it like this: the fuse is the first line of defense. If it's not that, then the dimmer could be the culprit. I'd advise getting a workshop to check the cable or plug connection of the component. The repair cost should be around 95€.

Thanks! Turns out it was exactly as you suspected – a faulty connection. The workshop confirmed it, and the repair cost 95€. I appreciate the advice!

Sounds like a faulty light switch, or as you suspect, a bad connection. Could also be a fuse issue. Have you checked the fuse box for blown fuses related to the tail lights or headlight switch? It's like checking the circuit breaker when the lights go out in your house.
