Evalia MOST Bus Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Evalia is experiencing a complete failure of the audio and navigation systems, with a diagnostic scan indicating a MOST bus fault. This issue may be caused by a faulty control unit within the MOST bus network. A similar case was resolved by taking the vehicle to a workshop, where the control unit was identified as the problem. The suggested solution is to have a professional mechanic inspect and potentially replace the defective control unit.

Interesting. So, you had the exact same symptoms? No audio, dead nav and the MOST bus error? Did you ever find out what was causing the fault with the data transmission?

Yep, those were the exact same symptoms. I never figured out the root cause. I ended up taking it to a workshop, as it was beyond my abilities. They mentioned something about a faulty control unit on the MOST bus network.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm heading for the workshop then. My local mechanic quoted around 1000€ to fix a defect in one of the control units installed in the MOST bus. Appreciate the confirmation!

EVALIA

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Evalia. Everything just went silent. I suspected a dodgy connection somewhere, but never really got to the bottom of it myself.
