Evanda Rear Ventilation Flap Fault
Summary of the thread
The 2005 Chevrolet Evanda is experiencing an issue with the rear ventilation flap, leading to poor AC performance. The problem could stem from a faulty flap actuator or a bad cable or plug connection. Checking the wiring and connectors to the rear ventilation flap actuator is suggested, as a loose connection might be causing the error. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by fixing a defective plug connection at a workshop.

Thanks. My electrical skills are limited. Where exactly are the wiring and connectors? Easy to get to, or do I need to take apart the dashboard?

It's usually behind the center console, accessible from the rear passenger area. Given the symptoms and error code, and that you are not familiar with the car's electrical system, it might be best to take it to a workshop for diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a shop as you suggested. It was a defective plug connection, just like you thought. Cost 95€, which seems fair. Thanks again for the help.

Sounds like a faulty flap actuator. Have you checked the wiring and connectors to the rear ventilation flap actuator? A loose connection there could throw an error and stop the AC from cooling effectively.
