Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'similar headache,' was yours also a complete non-start? I'll look into the software, but how does a fuel injection problem manifest? Is there any way to diagnose these issues to be sure? My error code reader says nothing!

Yes, mine was a complete non-start situation sometimes. Then other times, it ran rough then died. Check all the connections of the battery! If nothing else helps, you probably should take it to a reputable workshop that can check the cable connections properly. It could be the source of all problems.

Well, thanks to your cable connections suggestion, everything is working as expected again. Turns out the cables were really corroded. The workshop cleaned and refitted the cables, which cost me 155€. I really appreciate the help!

I had a similar headache with my Evanda. Engine stalling out of nowhere. Does it attempt to start at all, or is it just completely lifeless? Check your engine software; maybe it's corrupted. Also, have you looked at the fuel injection system?
