Everest Door Lock Failure

Experiencing unresponsive door locks on my 2017 Ford Everest diesel. Key fob and internal switch don't work. Suspect a faulty door contact signal. Any ideas? Mileage is 232314 km.

Could be a dodgy wiring harness, especially in the door jamb. Have you checked the door latch and door switch connections? A loose or corroded plug could cause the automatic locks to fail. Does the car alarm still work?

I haven't checked the wiring harness in the door jamb yet. Could a simple plug issue really disable all the doors simultaneously? The car alarm is not working, it seems like everything is related to the door signals...

A single faulty connection in a key area can take down the whole system, especially if it's related to the CAN bus. Since the alarm is affected too, it points to a central issue. I'd suggest getting it scanned by a workshop to pinpoint the exact fault.

It was a defective plug connection! They repaired it for 95€. Everything is working again.
