Everest glow plug issue

Cheers for the advice! I haven't checked the resistance yet, but that's a good shout. I'll give it a go. If one's duff, is it best to replace all of them?

Well, you could just replace the faulty one, but given the mileage, the others probably aren't far behind. If you don't want to have the same issue pop up again in a few months, I'd recommend replacing all of them. I ended up going to a workshop as I didn't have the right tools to remove them myself, probably the wisest choice. Prepare for a bill, glow plug replacement including labor cost me around 440€.

Thanks for the heads-up and the info! Sounds like I'll be heading to the workshop. Will keep you posted.

I've had a similar issue with my Everest, though it's a newer model. The check engine light was on, and the car was idling a bit rough, especially when cold. A faulty glow plug can definitely cause those symptoms. Have you checked the resistance of the glow plugs? A multimeter should help you figure out which one is defective.
