Everest Multifunction Steering Wheel Failure

Hi, I have a 2003 Ford Everest, diesel engine, with only 59354 km on the clock. The multifunction steering wheel has stopped working, and I'm getting an error in the system memory. Any ideas?

Sounds like a connectivity problem. Have you checked the fuses? It could also be a fault in the control module itself. Does the horn still work?

Where exactly are the fuses located? And no, the horn doesn't work either. Is it a complex fix?

The fuse box is usually under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. If the horn isn't working either, it does point to a defective cable connection in the steering wheel. Best to get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the shop, and it was indeed a defective cable connection in the steering wheel. Cost 95€ to repair. All sorted now!
