Everest Oil Pressure Light

Thanks, I did look at the wiring and connector, but didn't see anything obvious. But it might need a closer look. What exactly happened with your Everest when you had this problem? Knowing the details might help me figure this out.

My Everest was acting similarly. Same warning lights. I also initially suspected the sensor itself, but after some digging, it really did end up being a loose connection. I'd advise getting a proper diagnostic scan done at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact error code and confirm if it's truly the sensor or a wiring issue. Best not to risk engine damage if the oil pressure light is flickering.

That's good advice. I agree that a professional check is the best thing to do, given the engine risk. I'll book it in. I'll post what they find. The estimated repair cost is about 95€, including the sensor and the work.

I've seen similar issues on the Everest. That oil pressure light coming on intermittently is concerning. The engine oil temperature sensor provides data to the ECU, which then adjusts various engine parameters. A faulty sensor or connection can definitely throw things off. Have you checked the wiring harness for any obvious damage, like frayed wires or corrosion on the connector pins?
