They replaced it at the garage, it wasn't a big job, but it was something important. They said it was probably a popular repair. It took some time in the workshop, but after that everything ran smoothly again. It's just that if it breaks down, the air conditioning and heating system are simply gone, so it has to be repaired. The repair costs were around €940, which was needed to fix the faulty air conditioning control unit. I know that's no mean feat, but once it was done, everything worked as it should again.
