Excursion Brake Booster Sensor Fault

Thanks for the quick reply. I had the brake lines partially replaced about a year ago, so they did a full brake bleed then. I don't have the exact error code right now. What happens if the system wasn't filled correctly?

If the brake system wasn't bled right after replacing the brake lines, trapped air could be the issue. Air compresses, unlike brake fluid, which lowers the hydraulic pressure and braking force. The sensor sees this pressure drop and gives the error. Brakes are critical for safety, so I'd get a workshop to check it ASAP. Brake performance is important.

Understood. Thanks for confirming my thoughts and pointing out the dangers. I took it to a workshop. The pressure sensor was bad, likely from the brake lines not being bled correctly during the replacement. The total repair was 90€, including the sensor and labor. The error and braking issue are fixed.

A faulty brake booster pressure sensor could be the problem, especially with that error code. Incorrect brake bleeding can cause air in the system, hurting brake performance and maybe triggering the sensor. Have you had any work done on the brake lines or master cylinder recently? What's the exact error code you're seeing for the brake booster?
