Exhaust flap issue Renault Clio
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Clio hybrid owner experienced issues with the exhaust flaps, leading to error messages, increased noise, and rough engine sounds on cold starts. The problem was suspected to be a faulty flap actuator, which was confirmed by a local garage. The actuator was replaced, resolving the issues and restoring the car's performance.

Cheers! The error code says something about the exhaust flap being stuck. Is replacing the flap actuator a big job? Should I check exhaust valves before?

If the error points directly to the flap being stuck, actuator replacement is highly probable. While exhaust valves could theoretically cause issues, it's less common than actuator failure. Considering the error and symptoms, taking it to a workshop is your safest bet. Flap or related exhaust components replacement might be needed.

Thanks for the advice! Ended up taking it to a local garage. They confirmed it was the exhaust flap actuator. Cost me 190€ to get it sorted. Runs like a dream now!

Sounds like a defective exhaust flap. Is the error memory showing anything specific? Could also be an exhaust blockage, but the noise points to the flaps. I'd start there.
