Expedition AC Control Unit Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Ford Expedition is experiencing AC issues, including no cooling, an inactive AC system, and a warning light, possibly due to an AC control unit failure. The compressor is unresponsive, and there is a suspicion of low refrigerant, though pressure hasn't been checked. Similar symptoms in other cases suggest the control unit as the likely cause. The problem was confirmed to be the AC control unit, which was replaced.

Compressor seems totally unresponsive. I'm guessing it's out of refrigerant, but haven't checked the pressure yet. Were your symptoms the same, like the warning light and error code?

Yep. Same symptoms. Based on what I've seen and your diagnostics, I'd take it to a good shop. The control unit diagnosis sounds right.

Just to let you know, it was the AC control unit. Cost 980€. Thanks again for the help!

I've seen similar AC unit issues. Does the compressor engage at all, or is it completely unresponsive? Have you checked the refrigerant pressure?
