Expedition fuel flap issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2021 Ford Expedition with a gasoline engine. The fuel flap release isn't working. I'm getting an error in the system memory, and I can't lock or unlock the fuel filler flap anymore. It's also affecting some other functions of the car. Has anyone else run into this? I tried the key fob and the cable release, but nothing seems to work. Is there a fuse I should check?

I had something similar happen on my Expedition. Is it possible that the lock actuator is broken?

Interesting. Was it the same symptoms? No fuel flap operation, and some other functions acting up? What did you end up doing to fix it?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms! It turned out to be a defective linkage. Honestly, I just took it to the workshop. Best to let them sort it out, I think.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I took it to the shop, and it was indeed the linkage. Cost me 210€ to get it fixed. Annoying, but at least it's done.
