Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I think the filter's in correctly, and it was the right one. About the pressure sensor, could I have damaged it without realizing? Could a slightly loose connection cause these problems?

You could definitely damage the pressure sensor without knowing right away. Even a small crack or loose connection could mess with the signal. The error could be from a bad reading from that sensor after you worked on the filter. I'd suggest taking it to a shop.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a shop, and it was the fuel pressure regulator, probably messed up when I changed the fuel filter. Cost 45€ to fix. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds like a fuel system issue. A bad fuel pressure regulator is possible. Since you just changed the fuel filter, did you make sure the new one was installed right and is compatible with your Expedition? Maybe you damaged the pressure sensor when you replaced the filter?
