I own a 2023 Ford Expedition with a gasoline engine. The check engine light is on, and I've observed higher fuel consumption and uneven idling. My mileage is at 128479 km. Could this be a knock sensor issue?

I'm no expert, but with those symptoms, the knock sensor was the culprit in my case. I would recommend having a workshop check the ignition timing and the sensor itself.

Thank you for the advice. The workshop confirmed it was the knock sensor and the cable was indeed defective. Repair cost came to 95€. Now the car runs like new.
