Thanks for the tip! Where is the fuel pressure sensor located exactly? Is it easy to get to? And to answer your question, it seems to happen regardless of whether the engine is cold or warm, although it might be slightly worse when cold.

It's usually on the fuel rail. You might need a mirror to see it properly. Honestly, if it's happening all the time, and especially if you're not super confident with car repairs, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and replace the sensor if needed. Could save you a lot of hassle!

Okay, I took your advice and brought it to a mechanic. Turns out you were spot on! It was the fuel pressure sensor, and the cable was a bit corroded. They replaced the sensor, cleaned up the connection, and now it's running perfectly. The total cost was 95€, which I think is reasonable. Thanks a lot for your help!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Expedition. Turned out to be a bad fuel pressure sensor. Check the cable and plug connection going to the sensor; that's a common point of failure. Is it only happening when the engine is cold, or all the time?
