Expedition Transmission Control Unit Failure

2022 Ford Expedition gasoline engine, 117k km. Transmission control unit seems toast. Paddle shifters unresponsive, gearbox slips like it's on ice, grinding noises during shifts. Emergency mode activated, and error codes galore. Sounds like a bad car computer, any ideas?

Sounds rough. Are the paddle shifters completely dead, or just slow? Could be a bad connection somewhere. Is it like the car's brain is misfiring, sending the wrong signals to the gearbox?

They're completely dead, no response at all. All the other symptoms started around the same time. You think a loose connection could cause all that, even the grinding?

Hmm, the grinding makes a connection issue less likely. More like a serious malfunction in the control module itself, like a corrupted hard drive. I'd get it checked professionally before things get worse.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Took it in, affected control unit defective, 1000€ repair. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
