Expedition Washer Fluid Sensor Issue

Good call on the level sensor! Where is that located on the reservoir? I didn't notice any weird noises from the pump, but I wasn't really listening for it. Is there a way to test the pump without removing it?

The sensor is usually at the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. To test the pump, you'd need a multimeter to check for voltage at the connector when you activate the washer stalk. If you're not comfortable with that, a workshop could diagnose it quickly. It might be worth it to avoid causing other problems.

I took it to the shop. It was a faulty level sensor, like you suggested. A new sensor was installed, the error was cleared, and it's working again. It cost me 25€.

I had something similar happen on my Expedition. Check the fluid level sensor first. They can be unreliable and give false readings, even if the reservoir is full. If the sensor is fine, it might be a clogged line or a bad pump. Did you hear any unusual noises from the pump before it stopped working?
