Experiences and solutions for heating problems in the Audi A3 Diesel from 2018

Hi everyone, do you have any experience of problems with the heating in a 2018 Audi A3 diesel? My blower is not working properly and I suspect that it could be due to a malfunction of the rear ventilation flap. Have you had similar problems and how did you get this solved in the workshop? I would really appreciate your tips and experiences!

Hey, I had the 2016 Audi A3 diesel and had the same problem once. I'm not a car expert but I have a bit of experience with cars. I went straight to the garage at the time. In my case, it was the cable break in the servomotor. I paid 170 euros to have it repaired. Can you give me more details about your car? Then I might be able to help you better.

Hey, thanks for your input! My car has just under 58600 km on it now and was last serviced six months ago. The problem has actually come on gradually and is now getting worse. I had virtually no heating power at all on my last drive. Do you think this sounds like the same problem you had?

Hey, from your description, it sounds like you had the same problem as me. In my case, the heating power was getting weaker and weaker and eventually stopped working at all. I then went to the garage. They found a broken cable in the servomotor and repaired it. I then had no more problems with the heating. So my advice would be to go to the garage soon and have it checked. Don't let it get any worse. I hope I was able to help you!

Hey, thanks for the advice! With your description, the problem definitely sounds similar. I'll take it to the garage as soon as possible and have them take a close look. A broken cable really does sound pretty likely in this case. Thank you so much for your help!
