Expert climate control panel malfunction

Hello, I have a 2006 Peugeot Expert with a gasoline engine. The climate control panel isn't working. I've got an error stored, the heating output is too low, and the air conditioning system won't switch on. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Oh, I know that frustration all too well. I have an Expert myself, and a couple of years ago, I had similar HVAC issues. It drove me absolutely bonkers! Have you checked the blower motor resistor and all the associated electrical connectors? Those are notorious for causing havoc with the climate control system. It might be worth a look before you start tearing the whole dashboard apart. Sometimes it's the simplest things that cause the biggest headaches, isn't it?

Thanks for the suggestion! Where exactly is the blower motor resistor located? And are there any specific connectors I should pay extra attention to? I'm not very experienced with car electrics, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so on my Expert, the blower motor resistor was tucked away near the blower motor itself, usually behind the glove box or under the dash on the passenger side. As for the connectors, give all of them a good inspection for corrosion or loose pins. Honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around the wiring, I'd advise taking it to a workshop. I ended up doing just that, and they found a faulty connection which cost 95€ to fix. Better safe than sorry when it comes to electrical faults, trust me!

Thank you for your advice! I'll check the connectors, but I think I'll take it to a workshop as you suggest. They can probably diagnose it more quickly and safely. I'll let you know what they find.
