A high-voltage system error is occurring in a 2022 electric Peugeot Expert, leading to occasional engine shutdowns and reduced power. The suspected cause is an issue with the high-voltage battery, although initial checks of accessible wiring showed no visible damage. Could you provide more specific information regarding the location of the chafed wire you encountered? Any details regarding the diagnostic process would be greatly appreciated. I want to perform a thorough inspection before going to a professional.

I wish I could be more specific, but I left the detective work to the pros. They said it was tough to find without the proper diagnostic tools to check the entire length of the cable. If you have similar symptoms and have already checked for obvious damage, it might be time to book an appointment at the workshop. Cable damage was my issue and it cost me 290€ for the repair.

I appreciate you sharing your experience; it is very helpful. Given the potential complexity and the need for specialized diagnostic equipment, I will schedule an appointment with a qualified technician to inspect the high-voltage system. Thanks again for your assistance.

I drive an older Expert and had a similar problem a while back. I was getting weird battery warnings and power drops, like a tap slowly being turned off. It turned out to be a chafed wire in the high-voltage system harness. It was a tricky spot to see, hidden behind one of the protective panels. Check the wiring thoroughly, especially where it runs near sharp edges or moving parts.
