Yeah, I cleaned the terminals already, they were pretty nasty but it didn't fix it. Did replacing the battery sensor solve the problem for you completely? Was it throwing any specific codes or anything that pointed directly to it?

Replacing the sensor did resolve the issue for me, yes. Unfortunately, I do not recall the error codes that were displayed. Given your mileage and the symptoms, I would strongly advise taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. Continuing to drive it with a faulty electrical system can cause further damage.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop and you were spot on, it was the battery sensor. 315€ later and it's running like new. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Express. The symptoms you describe – error messages and flickering lights – are classic signs of a battery drain. The battery sensor can definitely cause this. Have you checked the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections?
