Express engine stalls at idle
Summary of the thread
The 2007 Chevrolet Express van experienced stalling at idle and intermittent check engine light issues. The initial suspicion was a problem with the tank ventilation valve or clogged hoses. After replacing the hoses and the tank ventilation valve, the stalling issue was resolved, and the check engine light turned off.

Thanks. Could you tell me where the purge valve and pressure sensor are in the EVAP system? Knowing where they are would really help.

It's near the engine, you can't miss it. Honestly, I messed with it forever and finally took it to a shop. It was a pain, and they fixed it fast.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I checked the hoses and they were bad, so I replaced them. Replaced the tank ventilation valve and hoses too. The stalling is gone and the check engine light is off. Cost me 175€.

I had something similar happen with my Express. Check your EVAP system, especially around the purge valve. Could be a pressure sensor acting up too. Have you checked the hoses yet?
