It went pretty quickly, to be honest. No real warning signs of degraded sound quality. Just stopped working mid-call. Any ideas what specifically failed in your case?

Ah, that's unfortunate. In my case, the garage confirmed that the entire infotainment system was defective, which I found quite irritating. I'd strongly advise getting it properly checked out by a workshop, as I am only familiar with the error.

Thanks for the insight. Sounds like I'm on the right track suspecting the infotainment system. Will proceed with the repair.

Oh, I know that pain! I've got an Express as well. Sounds exactly like what happened to me a while back. Was the sound quality cutting out before it died completely, or did it just go kaput all of a sudden? Because I initially thought it was just a bad connection, you know?
